To set feature settings and symbology

Customize the import process by adjusting the various feature and symbology settings.
Select the ellipsis (...) to access the dialog for defining the Where clause.
The tool for defining the Where clause is the same as that used for defining a Search. Please see Search Tool for details.
For text placement, select the Text Style and define the PBA (Property Based Annotation) expression. Select a property from the list or edit the field for more control over the placed text. Plain text can also be included. An entry such as Elev:[ELEVATION] will include the plain text as shown below.
Multiple properties could be placed by manually editing the PBA field. For example, ID:[ID]\010Elev: [ELEVATION] (where \010 produces a newline), would result in the following:

Options such as Angle and Scale can access properties of the imported file to affect placement. Select from the list of properties to apply that property to the placement.

Access the current active angle or scale settings.
